Favorite lines from the book......................
You mustn't wait for someone to rescue you...A girl expecting rescue never learns to save herself.
"She did as she felt, and she felt a great deal."
"You make a life out of what you have, not what you're missing"
Always remember, with a strong enough will, even the weak can wield great power."
"The cage door opened and the cuckoo bird fell, fell, fell, until finally her stunted wings opened, and she found that she could fly."

Last week our family was asked to clean the church. So on Saturday night we went over and started vacuuming, taking out the trash, ect. One of the chores on the list was to clean the chapel. ((WOW the Cheerios we found!)) We needed to make sure all the hymn books were all a certain way. So we went row by row and arranged them all.
On Sunday morning we sat down in our seats and Kalab had to fix our hymn books. He tapped me and said look!
I was so grateful for the lessons my kids learned about keeping our newly remodeled church clean and tidy!

all she likes to do is Dance, Dance, Dance!
I bought these flowers for her and had Blayne bring them up when they came. She thought her dad was AWESOME for bringing her flowers...
No stage fright and she LOVED being on the stage.... I wonder where she gets it!

My Civil Duty....
I left with 20 other people, followed a balif down the ramp and up the stairs. My heart was about to jump out of my skin.... I did not want to do this and I thought that I would be released and sent home. We sat in the benchs and recieved instructions. Then our names were all put in a box and pulled out one by one to fill 12 seats....... I was Juror #7
We were asked several questions as a group, then some individual ones. The Judge asked us to tell them what we did for a living and then our spouse. I figured this was my chance to get out of it..... NOPE I was chosen to be 1 out of 6 jurors.
It was a personally injury case. Once I was in there and listening to the instructions of being a Juror, I started to get excited. I was able to see what Blayne did and how the process all worked. I listened to opening and closing statements and the whitnesses. The plantiff fell asleep, not a good thing to do infront of us. We found in favor of the defendant and it didn't take us long at all to diliberate. We finished and were able to leave by 4:30. I did NOT have to go back. I was finished with my CIVIL DUTY!
