bad week for Aubrey

This past week has been a hard one for my sweetie girl....

first she cut her foot.  The screen door hit the
back of her foot .  We went to the ER
and she had to get 6 stitches.

Next Kalab dropped the top a stool on her little toe~
Same foot!
She had just started walking normal too!

I hope nothing else happens to this poor foot~

all she likes to do is Dance, Dance, Dance!

Aubrey was in her 1st dance recital today.  And she rocked!  She did a tap dance to "Kiss the Girl"
I bought these flowers for her and had Blayne bring them up when they came.  She thought her dad was AWESOME for bringing her flowers...

No stage fright and she LOVED being on the stage.... I wonder where she gets it!

I tried this recipe yesterday and it was a hit!

Apple Brownies

Ingredients:
1 c. butter
2 c. sugar
2 eggs
2 C. flour
1 tsp. Baking powder
2 tsp. cinnamon
3 large or 4 small apples, peeled and diced
granulated sugar (for sprinkling on top after baking)
Caramel Ice Cream topping (optional)

Directions:
Preheat oven to 350. Choose your pan size: either a 9 x 13 pan, two pie pans, or a pie pan and four mini-loaf pans. Spray with nonstick cooking spray. Cream butter and sugar. Add eggs, flour, baking powder, cinnamon, and apples. Mix well. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes. Remove from oven and sprinkle with sugar.
