I have not been feeling very inspired lately. I just haven't wanted to create anything. I saw this and I hope I can get a little excited and make something!

I have a LOVE/HATE relationship with my camera.
I LOVE that I have a dsl cannon rebel that was GIVEN to me by my Father-in-law.
I HATE that I don't know how to use it...
There is a tree in the neighbors yard that when I look out the windows it reminds me of the song...... Popcorn Popping on the apricot tree....
I went out to experiment with the camera. The best way to get to know my camera is to use it!
Spring is on it's way~
i saw this fun site. Maybe I can get some pointers......

brag post!
Taylor has been part of his schools basketball team. The team plays other 5th graders from the local elementarys. His team has been doing very well. He came home with a letter say that he and one other boy made the all star team and was going to the High School to practice with the varsity team, then play against the "west" side elementarys. The coaches were players from the HS team. Taylor made 4 points. We had so much fun watching Taylor and are so very proud of his determination to do his best.
And the best part Blayne took us out to dinner.....!

girls night...
Last Tuesday night I was invited to go to Lord of the Dance.... WOW it was fun. It brought back so many memories of my DRILL TEAM days and performing in front of people.
It was fun just to get out and act silly for the night!

Valentine's gone wrong
I had seen cute ideas in a magazine at the doctors office for boys valentines. They were not mushy or lovey but just right for a boy. I wish I would have ripped out the article. I started searching for boys Valentines and found a cute idea....
I just adapted it for the boys. I worked hard on them all afternoon Thursday.
When Blayne came home I was so excited to show him...then he told me that I could not send WEAPONS to school.....What.....I had just made BOMBS for a bunch of 3rd graders. I could not send them....but it was a great idea if I do say so myself!

We survived the Pine Wood Derby!
He lost! But in the end it turned out to be a fun night.
He was a little crushed that the car did not go as fast as he wanted,
but it's not about the winning --- It's about looking GOOD!
