thankful for....

So today when church was over I picked Kalab up from nursery and said goodbye to some friends and went to my car..Because we have guest at our home some of them went home early, so I was there with Kalab and Aubrey, easy enough,... I put Kalab in the car and went home. I went home and there was no Aubrey! I FORGOT Aubrey at church...UH.. What kind of mother am I. I drove back to the church as fast as I could. I ran in and there standing by the bishop's office was Aubrey and Sis Tea. Sister Bianco was on the phone calling Blayne. Aubrey came running down the hall crying "you forgot me" Oh how horrible I felt. On the way home Aubrey asked me if I was worried and I said YES. Then she asked if Daddy was worried and I said YES. I asked if she was worried and she said NO. Hopefully I haven't scared her for life!! I have never left any of my kids anywhere..so again, I want to say how thankful I am living close to the.....

On the day my little brother was blessed my mom piled us all in the car to go home. She counted us and saw that she had all five kids. A few minutes after returning home, she got a call from church saying that she had left my 2 year old sister there. Then it dawned on my mom that she now had SIX kids. So it happens to the best of them. My friends sister got left at a rest stop in Mexico!

I was totally left at the store. Being the intelligent child that I was/am, I walked out of the store and sat on the sidewalk and waited for my family to come back and get me. It only took YEARS to get over it! Just kidding, I've decided that you aren't truely loved until you've been left somewhere. If they come back for you, you're truely loved. If they don't, well, change your name, find a new family and before you turn 18, light their lawn on fire.

I can remember when we were little, and all of my cousins lived out of town. There were 8 of them and they were here for some holiday. We got home and the phone started ringing, we had forgotten Brittany at the church! I can remember somebody saying, that it was a good thing we were close to the church!
Your story gave me a chuckle. You can rest assured, that at least Aubrey was not starving- I know they had a feast in class that day!
